Here is a look at what my tomorrow will be like:
8:00 am - Breakfast
9:00 am - Class "Welcome to Green Mountain: Becoming a Skillful Eater"
10:30 am - Exercise for EveryBODY: Adapting Exercise for Your Body's Needs (LynAnne told me to take this class so we can assess and discuss my weak ankle. She is going to give me some exercises to help strengthen it. She didn't mention whether or not she will be help me be less clumsy.)
Noon - Lunch
1:00 pm - Intrinsic Exercise: Fitness Soul Search & Walk of Mindfulness
2:30 pm - Total Body Strength
3:30 pm - Snack
4:00 pm - Meditation Practice
4:15 pm - Mindful Stretch and Relax
6:00 pm - Dinner
7:00 pm - Movie Night: John Pinnette: "I'm Starving"
So as you can see, the day alternates between classes and exercise; learning and mediation. I think I am going to enjoy the fact that it isn't focused on just exercise or just nutrition. Like I said before, for each time slot we can choose what we want to do and I will fill you in on my week as we go along. And all of it is optional. If there were a time slot that I didn't want to take either class then I don't have too and could just go on a walk on the grounds. That might be something I do my final week as I figure out how to do this on my own in the real world. For now, I am excited and plan to take as many classes as possible and get my money's worth!
Sounds great, Beth. I love the meditation component ... so important! And your roomie sounds perfect, too. You were obviously meant to do this at this time. Keep the info coming; I am living vicariously thorugh you! Mom
